D&D Industrial Coatings Ltd was formed by Paul Drinkwater in 1997. At its inception the company worked solely in the application of industrial coating systems. Since the early days Paul's expertise, together with the company's professional approach and customer oriented philosophy has enabled the company to grow into one of the nation's leading industrial coatings applicators. Hand in hand with the refurbishment and maintenance of building exteriors the business has grown and expanded to encompass internal refurbishment of industrial and commercial property also thereby providing a one-stop-shop for maintenance, repair and refurbishment for many of our clients buildings.
Today D&D Industrial Coatings are proud to be one of the nation's approved leading applicators of Akzo Nobels Steelseal, Giromax's Delcote, Seamsil and Delglaze products and Flowcrete's epoxy floor coatings. Combine these services with our strong in-house team of contracts managers and we are able to provide main contractor services for the refurbishment of industrial and commercial property. We directly employ the majority of trades and as such pride ourselves on our ability to complete the majority of refurbishment works in house providing greater control over time, cost and quality of the project.
Paul remains hands on in the business with a day to day involvement in all tendering and contract work. Supported by a chartered building surveyor, a number of highly experienced contracts managers and a health and safety consultant each project is closely monitored to ensure it meets with the high quality of care which has enabled the business to grow over the years.
Where it is necessary for us to use subcontractors, for example in the provision of scaffold access or mechanical installations, it is our preference to use companies with which we have been fortunate enough to build up excellent working relationships. These companies share our philosophy for quality and consistency. All our subcontractors are paid in full on completion of their work and extending this goodwill ensures our subcontractors meet our project timescales and work with us to maintain our customer oriented approach.
